Though the season started strong for the hometown Leafs, the Buds have since slipped back down to the level of mediocrity they’ve grown accustomed to in recent memory. If this is to be the year they return to the postseason they’ll have to turn their campaign around fast.

With the one-two combination of Phil Kessel and Joffrey Lupul proving insufficient recently, Toronto will need to find a way to start turning point-production into victories. Does that start this weekend?
