It is no secret that Don Cherry is a huge fan of the Boston Bruins. So, why is he cheering for the Vancouver Canucks to win the Stanley Cup?
Cherry coached the Bruins for 5 seasons, form 1974-1979. He is regularly seen wearing Bruins gear and colors on Coaches Corner, and he is very vocal about his support of Bruin great, Bobby Orr.
Now that his beloved Bruins are in the Stanley Cup Final versus the Vancouver Canucks. You would think it was a no-brainer who Cherry is cheering for.
However, the Vancouver Canucks zamboni suggests Cherry may be pulling for the Canucks to win the Cup.

So is Don Cherry cheering for the Boston Bruins, or the Vancouver Canucks?
The Canucks will meet the Bruins in Game 1 of their NHL Stanley Cup Final hockey playoffs June 1.
