Tonight is a light night but heading down to Carolina to take the Canes win over the Caps.

Kirk Muller has his team playing better as of late and I think they are a solid pick at home. Skinner, Jokinen and Staal are the key up front. Cam Ward will be a game time decision and could throw a wrench in my plans but still think they will come up with a solid effort and use the home crowd to their advantage.

The Caps big stars are fading and Ovie and Co. aren't doing to much.

The Canes are 5-2-3 in their last 10 and the Caps have only 3 wins.

My Pick: Canes big home win at home to pull them out of last and within 1 point of the Habs.
