Henrik Sedin still leads the Canucks point scorers, despite being almost a non-factor in recent weeks. Brother Daniel leads the team in goals. He’s also taken considerably more shots than anyone else. Roberto Luongo continues to get the lions’ share of time in net, despite backup Cory Schneider actually having outplayed the All-Star netminder.
For the Kings, Anze Kopitar is the one setting the pace as he leads the team in goals, assists and, therefore, points. However, more credit must go to Jonathan Quick in net, who is in the top-five in save percentage and goals-against average in the NHL.
With 28/1 odds of winning the Stanley Cup, the Kings have their work cut out for them. It won’t be easy to capitalize on those NHL futures, but there’s a lot of experience on that roster. The Canucks, who fell one game short of a Stanley Cup championship last season, are resting easy with 6/1 NHL odds.
