The World's Only Professional NHL Handicapper... That Has Actually Played In The NHL!

My name is Brad Leeb and I am the creator of BetOnHockey.com.

Born in Canada, hockey has always been a part of my life. I started playing hockey at the age of 6, and have been playing, watching and living hockey my entire life. In recent years, handicapping hockey games has been my passion.

Like every kid that laces up the skates, I always dreamed of playing in the NHL. I started playing minor hockey in Red Deer, Alberta and was fortunate enough to play major junior for my home town Red Deer Rebels of the WHL. I steadily improved and played for Team Canada at the IIHF World Junior Championships in 1999.

Later in 1999 I was invited to the Vancouver Canucks camp and landed an entry level contract. I went on to play in Vancouver’s minor league system for the next 3 years, managing to suit up for 5 games with the Canucks.

In 2002 the Canucks traded me to the Toronto Maple Leafs. I played in the Maple Leafs system for the next 5 seasons with the St. John’s ‘Baby Leafs’ and the Toronto Marlies. I played one game with the Maple Leafs in 2004. This was very special for me because the Leafs were my Dad’s favorite team when he was growing up.

In 2008 I decided to take my career over to Europe. My brother Greg was playing in Germany (DEL) and we had never played on the same hockey team before, we had only ever played against each other. Going to Germany was an opportunity to play on the same team, and even the same line. I have always looked up to Greg, and he has been a huge influence on my career. We are still playing together in Nuremberg for the Thomas Sabo Ice Tigers. We are like the Sedin's of the DEL!

I have a beautiful wife, Emily, who I am completely in love with. I also have a son, Brayden, who means the world to me.

I owe everything in my life to the game of hockey.

I know my playing career will not last forever, and I am looking forward to my next career as a professional sports handicapper.
